Swim Lessons at WR&FC

Westford Racquet & Fitness Club offers swimming lessons for children and adults ages 6 months and older. Our lessons follow the American Red Cross Program. Listed below are the days and times that are offered.

WESTFORD RACQUET & FITNESS CLUB’S2010 Fall Session Swimming Lessons

WR&FC offers American Red Cross Swimming Lessons for children of all ages and abilities. The purpose is to teach children safety awareness and swimming skills while they have lots of fun.

LITTLE DIPPERS
For children ages 6 months - 3 years. Parents go in the water with their children. Songs and games are used to get children accustomed to the water. Participants that are not potty trained must wear special swim diapers. Minimum 6 students, maximum 12 students. Cost is $150.00 per member and $225.00 per nonmember for 10 classes.

Sat 8:30-9:00 AM LD (6 mos-3yrs)

Swim Bubbles are required for 3 Year Old, Preschool Level 1, and Level 1 Classes.

3 YEAR OLD CLASS
Swim Bubble required. Children must be toilet trained. No parents in the water. Minimum 4, maximum 5 students. Cost is $150.00 per member and $225.00 per nonmember for 10 classes.

PRESCHOOL CLASSES
The following classes are for children 4 to 5 years old. Children must be toilet trained.
Minimum 4, maximum 5 students. Cost is $150.00 per member and $225.00 per nonmember for 10 classes.

For Preschool 2 child must be able to swim 3 yards with no flotation devices.

Minimum 5 students, maximum 8 students. Cost is $210.00 per member and $280.00 per nonmember for 10 classes.

WR&FC JUNIOR SWIM TEAM
WR&FC’s recreational swim team, the Westford Dolphins, is for children ages 6-17 years old. It is structured to teach the fundamentals of competitive swimming in an environment of encouragement and development.
Practices will be M,W,F from 3:45-5:15 PM from October through the middle of March. Meets and Champs held.
To qualify, swimmers must be able to complete one length of the pool without stopping and have good form in the front crawl. Cost is $375 for members and $445 for nonmembers.

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
If you are looking for that extra special attention, private swim lessons are for you! Cost is $35.00 for members and $41.00 for nonmembers for a 30 min private lesson. Private lessons are available for all ages and abilities.

ADULT SWIM CLASSES
Adult class has minimum 3, maximum 6 per class. Cost is $205.00 per member and $260.50 per nonmember for 9 classes.

MASTER SWIM PROGRAM
WR&FC offers a master swim program for adults. Call (978)692-7597 for more information.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES!
Have your child’s birthday party here at the club! Parties are available Saturday or Sunday afternoons. $140.00 for members and $175.00 for nonmembers includes a lifeguard, 2 lanes of the pool for one hour, up to 10 children, and an hour in the party room. The kids have a great time swimming and playing!

For 3 Year Old, Preschool Level 1 and Level 1 lessons SWIM BUBBLES ARE REQUIRED.
Swim Bubbles can be purchased at the Club for $20.00.

Session 1 - Fall ‘10

Session 1 starts September 7th!. The session runs through November 14, 2010.
